Richard is the founding Partner of WERT consulting and has over 14 years’ executive management & CFO experience in both the Retail and Technology sectors.
Richard is a proven ‘hands-on’ finance professional, having held numerous successful executive positions with Lidl Ireland in the areas of Tax, Finance, Accounting and Retail Operations. He lead the Finance function during a significant growth period for the discount retailer and during this time developed a network and skill base that drives the ethos at WERT consulting. His clients are engaged in a broad range of industries, including Retail, Manufacturing, Technology, Agri-Food and Financial Services.
Richard is the Advisory Board Chairman for Greenman Investments S.C.A and is a Non-Executive Director for a number of other european private businesses.
Richard is a fluent speaker in English and German, holds a Bachelors Degree in Business and Accounting and is also a member of both the Institute of Management Consultants and Advisers in Ireland and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Jochen Heigoldt

Jochen brings extensive consulting experience in European discount retailing to WERT and is a profound professional in Corporate Finance and Investments.
Jochen began his career with Lidl Ireland in Operations earning rapid promotion to Management Accounting and taking on executive level responsibility. Being in charge of business planning, he was a key figure in establishing Lidl in Ireland and Northern Ireland. He moved on to Head of Finance and Accounting applying all key instruments of a CFO’s toolbox. Jochen then had the opportunity to join Lidl’s International Headquarter in Germany serving all European countries and the International Board as Inhouse Consultant. His role was to not only streamline business processes and provide strategic recommendations, but to lead and participate in post merger integration and other international projects.
In parallel, Jochen managed a family investment portfolio and in 2011 took charge of a significant restructuring project whereby he constructed and completed a share and asset deal of a hi-tech company involving a US S&P 500 corporation.
Having lived in Ireland for more than six years and being educated in Germany, the United States and France, Jochen speaks three languages fluently. He holds a Masters Degree from EBS Business School – Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, Wiesbaden.
